- The Angkor site : the former capital of the Khmer Empire, is a vast UNESCO-listed archaeological complex. It features iconic temples like Angkor Wat, Bayon with its carved faces, and Ta Prohm, entwined with tree roots. A testament to a grand civilization, Angkor captivates visitors with its rich history and stunning architecture.

 

- Bamboo Bridge : a riverside restaurant near Angkor, featuring bamboo huts on stilts. Perfect for relaxing, it offers Khmer dishes like grilled fish and spicy chicken in a peaceful setting.

- The West Baray : a vast ancient reservoir near Angkor, showcases Khmer hydraulic engineering. Once used for irrigation, it is now a peaceful spot where visitors can relax, enjoy the scenery, and even swim.

Phnom Krom mountain : Phnom Krom, about 12 km from Siem Reap, offers stunning panoramic views of the Tonlé Sap Lake and surrounding rice fields. At the top, you'll find a 9th-century Angkorian temple, partially in ruins, creating a peaceful atmosphere perfect for enjoying the sunset.

The Rice Fields Road : a path that passes through rice fields, at the heart of local life with breathtaking views.

- Preah Dak Village : In Preah Dak Village, palm fruit-based desserts are quite popular. The "palm fruit dessert" consists of fresh fruit served with sweet coconut milk, while other treats include cakes and jams made from palm sap, offering a sweet and authentic taste of local cuisine. 

- Kampong Phluk : Kampong Phluk is a village on Tonlé Sap Lake, known for its floating houses and stilted buildings. Visitors can explore serene canals by boat, passing through flooded forests and experiencing local life. It offers a peaceful escape with a unique connection to nature.

- Phnom Kulen : Phnom Kulen is a mountain and national park located about 50 km from Siem Reap, known for its lush forests, waterfalls, and ancient temples. It is a sacred site for Cambodians, featuring the famous River of a Thousand Lingas and the stunning Kulen Waterfall. The area offers a peaceful retreat and a chance to explore Cambodia’s rich cultural and natural heritage.
